I'm from Fukui. It is said on TV program that Fukui is the easiest town to live in Japan. But when it comes to famous spot,what I can say is only that there are Tojimbo(the sight of suicide) and lots of nuclear power plants...

I didn't watch the TV proglam, and I don't know if he is popular in Canada. But my Japanese friends knew him, and got him by playing a game at the wonderland. They looked happy:)
